About us
Hemiòlia is a chamber music group formed by Jordi Bonilla Julià (oboe) and Paula Martí Fandos (piano). Their main motivation is to delve into the chamber music repertoire and enjoy music, exploring pieces that range from the baroque to the present day.
Hemiòlia, a technical musical term that refers to the substitution of two ternary metric units with three binary ones, perfectly defines the nature of this chamber group to form both a duo and a trio, offering the possibility of incorporating a third member at certain times.
Artistic Proposals: Hemiòlia has created several innovative and multidisciplinary shows, combining classical music with other styles, audiovisual elements, and theater:

Paula Martí Fandos
Paula Martí Fandos is a pianist and music theory teacher, with an extensive career in both teaching and musical performance. Her passion for music and teaching has been a constant throughout her career, standing out for her ability to integrate innovative methodologies and her versatility as a performer.
Concerns/Interests:
Academic and Musical Training: Paula Martí obtained her higher degrees in music theory and piano at the Conservatorio Superior de Música del Liceo. With the intention of perfecting her technique and pedagogy, she has incorporated the Cos-Art technique, which has allowed her to achieve a deeper connection with her instrument. This training is complemented by studies in prominent musical pedagogies, such as those of Edgar Willems, Jacques Dalcroze, and Edwin Gordon. These methodologies have enriched her teaching abilities and allowed her to develop an integral and personalized approach to music education.

Additionally, she has obtained the IGEME certificate for teaching music to babies aged 0 to 6 years according to Edwin Gordon's theory. This diversification in her training reflects her dedication to adapting to the educational needs of different age groups. In addition to her work at the Tortosa Conservatory, Paula teaches as a guest lecturer at other educational institutions. This complementary teaching activity allows her to disseminate her methodologies and contribute to musical education in different educational contexts.
Activity as a Pianist: In the field of musical performance, Paula Martí has performed numerous concerts, both solo and in various chamber ensembles. She is currently part of two musical duos: a piano four hands duo with Elisa Huguet and another with oboist Jordi Bonilla, with whom she founded the group Hemiòlia, participating in various innovative and multidisciplinary musical projects.
